About Me
Hi, my name is Deni. I'm a Software Engineer based in Europe.
I’ve spent the past decade as an independent platform engineering consultant,
dropping into teams to modernize their infrastructure. My work ranges from full
cloud migrations and production-ready Kubernetes clusters to
Terraform/Ansible/Nix IaC, centralized observability, push-button CI/CD and
engineer enablement. I’ve also driven SOC-2 compliance from zero and, when
privacy laws demanded, shifted workloads from public cloud to a local area
providers on bare metal - all without downtime or painful onboarding.
Earlier, I led the carve-up of a monolith into containerized services, automated release flows for cloud and on-prem installs, and cut developer workstation setup from days to minutes. I’ve containerized legacy SaaS on AWS and GCP, designed HIPAA-compliant architectures, tuned Celery at scale and shipped web products with Python, Haskell, Purescript, Typescript and Javascript. I keep active in open source and for a while ran local Python, Haskell and Docker meetups to share what I've learned.
